Mirage was the first non-zone map produced. It is a simple map that was originally an experiment in cheating, but became a map of it's own. I only has one piece of food and invisible walls. Every player has the chance to get a power up and quick players can get a few, but every power up has it's own advantage and players without a power up soon team up to kill the player with the power ups they want.
Be cunning and quiet and you're likely to win.
Jungle is the second non-zone map produced. I was designed to be a long duration game running at 23 minutes, it gives ants plenty of time to gather points on a huge map, but also gives your enemies plenty of time to steal from you while your not looking. It contains many features not seen in other maps. Food value is determined by how far away it is from the nests. Some food has a plant under it, some food has a power up under it, and some flowers also have hidden power ups under them. There is only one way to get to the
island with the power flower and it requires trust of another player, who may just turn on you !
The third non-zone map produced. Designed for fighting.
Since there is no food, the winner is determined by the number of kills performed.
River will probally be the fourth non-zone map but there are others also ready to play. At the moment there is a small bug that is preventing them from working correctly. This will hopefully be fixed soon.
